Traditionally, Ultimate players fund themselves, and realistically, they play the sport with that expectation. However, any financial assistance that could be provided would be welcome.

Even though the players' accommodation and meals are provided for by the World Games organization, they still have to fly themselves over there, attended practices and training tournaments, and attire themselves.
