Three positions available on the CUPA Board of Directors 2004 - 2005

CUPA is not-for-profit organization governed by a nine-person Board of Directors representing over 1400 members across Canada. The directors are a key link between members and the rest of the organization. As a Board, they set CUPA’s vision and policies, oversee prudent financial management, hire and guide the Executive Director, and help establish and evaluate CUPA’s strategic objectives. By volunteering your services as a member of the board of directors, you can help shape the future of Canadian Ultimate.

Directors each serve a term of two years. Directors may stand for re-election for a second term with a maximum two consecutive terms. Currently, there are 3 positions open – 2 in BC and the Junior Board Member.

If you are interested in running for a position on the Board, please send a brief nomination paragraph to . These statements will be available on the web site for our members to peruse before the AGM.

In your nomination paragraph, please answer the following questions:

  1. What unique experience or insights do you bring to the Board that will benefit CUPA members?
  2. What skills do you bring to the Board that can help CUPA maintain its success and improve in the future?
  3. What is your most memorable Ultimate playing experience that you would like to share with CUPA members?
