Chris Powell Memorial Fund In the aftermath of Chris' death, there are several fundraising efforts being organized for a memorial fund in his honour. The money will probably be awarded to a Carleton Ultimate player who shows promise in the sport, in academics and who needs a financial nudge. Though the details on that have not been finalized, donations are being accepted at: Chris Powell Memorial Fund Monday, October 19th, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce that a member of the Carleton University open team died Saturday morning in Montreal. Chris Powell was in the city to attend the Canadian University Ultimate Championships. His cause of death is currently unknown.
