GENERAL
INFORMATION
ATTENTION
ALL TEAMS ATTENDING NATIONALS
The deadlines for making reservations are approaching quickly.
This means the rates will no longer be the CUC negotiated ones
and the cost will be much more expensive. Numerous accommodations
are already sold out in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Aug 13th - 15th),
and in Montreal, for the Saturday night (Aug 16th). If you have
not already done so, MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS
IMMEDIATELY. Remember that on Saturday evening, all activities
move to Montreal and you must book your night separately from
your three previous nights.
Due
to the Mongolfier (Hot Air Balloon) Festival in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu,
hotels in the area are booked solid a year in advance. By cajoling,
pleading and begging, the CUC Accommodations Committee has secured
enough beds for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, August
13, 14 and 15th, 2003. On Saturday night, the festivities move
to Montreal, as do the tournament-sponsored accommodations. The
CUC will do everything to make this transition as smooth and hassle-free
as possible for everyone involved! Minutes from the spectacular
skyline party setting and Molson Stadium, Saturday night’s
accommodation options will be as affordable as it gets in North
America’s most exciting city
Please
make your reservations in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (on Aug 13, 14
& 15) and in Montreal (on Aug 16) as soon as possible to secure
your team’s accommodations. Many of these hotels, hostels
and dorm rooms are available exclusively to CUC attendees for
a limited time only.
NB:
All tournament-sponsored hotels will be in Montreal on Saturday,
August 16th, 2003 in an effort to provide accessible accommodations
for the CUC party and championship finals for Open, Mixed and
Women’s.
