2005 Canadian Ultimate Championships
Executive Organizers 
The Executive Organizing Committee have literally put thousands of hours in to planning CUC 2005, with the goal of making the event as enjoyable for the players as possible.
Jessica Benoit, Fields Co-directorJess was first introduced to ultimate in 1991, and has played league in Winnipeg since 1996. She is constantly involved in organizing ultimate tourneys.
Corey Draper, Hospitality Director
Corey has been involved with Ultimate since 1997 and has become a regular fixture at the annual Regina, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg tournaments. A true fan of the game, Corey is currently working towards a degree in Volunteer Management.
Jim Fraser, Sponsorship Director
Jim has been involved in Ultimate for 12 years. He's a long-standing member of Chaos, including two National Championship titles, and a trip to the 2002 World Club Championships. Jim was also a member of the Canadian National Mixed team in 2004 winning a silver medal at the World Championships. Along with his ultimate experience, Jim brings an extensive sales and marketing background in both front line and management to the committee.
Rick Kulchyki, Fields Co-director
Rick's been playing ultimate for 10 years. He attended CUC with Chaos for four years. He's a hands-on individual, and works as millwright supervising industrial welding.
Eric Reder, Communications Director
In 1991 Eric played his first Nationals as a Winnipeg Pagan with memorable players such as Simon Cotton, Mike Jones, and Greg Lang. After several years away from disc he returned to competitive ultimate in 1998 with Winnipeg Chaos, and has been touring and playing ever since. He also helps coach the Junior team MOFO, and publishes Chasing Plastic Magazine.
Danny Saunders, General Manager
Danny played his first Nationals in 1994, competing in the inaugural Juniors division here in Winnipeg. He played for the SJR Eagles and has only missed 2 nationals since, playing in the Juniors, Open and Mixed divisions. Danny is the current Executive Director for the Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports.
Michelle Vermette, Finance Director
Michelle has been a volleyball player and sports enthusiast for many years, was introduced to ultimate last summer, and instantly became hooked. Although currently sidelined due to pregnancy, she is out cheerleading at every game and practice. Michelle is a chartered accountant working for Agricore United.
Numerous other volunteer coordinators and department heads are also making this event a success,and will be recognized here.
