2005 Canadian Ultimate Championships

Saturday Party

For fifty-two of the nearly sixty teams attending, Saturday marks the end of their Canadian ultimate season. A suitable celebration is being planned at downtown night club M.A.S.H., conveniently located a couple blocks from the host hotel. Exclusive entrance has been negotiated until midnight, so late arriving party-goers can still get in to mix and mingle. A varied line-up of local live music has been booked. Michael Jones Band (michaeljonesband.com) is opening the night, and The Barrymores (thebarrymores.com) will be carrying the party into the morning. On another level of the multi-floor venue a guest DJ will be spinning. Drink specials have been arranged to make the evening affordable. All that is required is a ticket that every player gets, and maybe some dance moves. Additional guest tickets will be available to be purchased at Information at Maple Grove Park during the tournament for $10.
