About Volunteering

There are still many volunteer positions to fill, everything from a few hours during the event to long-term commitments starting immediately and running up to the event.

NATIONALS VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Times may vary due to not having a schedule of the games yet.
Dates required August 11, 12, 13 and 14th. You do not have to commit to all for days or for one full day. Even one or two shifts would be appreciated.

Parking lot volunteers
6 volunteers/shift, 4 hours/shift
About 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
About 12:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
About 4:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (or end of day)

Score Keepers
16 volunteers/shift (1 per field)
6 hours/shift (about 2 games)
Start at about 8:30 a.m. until end of 2 games
Start at 2:30 p.m. until end of 2 games

Disc Central
Supervising large tented areas where the food will be, and scores are posted and some merchandise may be for sale.
2 volunteers/shift, 6 1/2 hours/shift
About 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
1:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Floaters
Fill in as need (bathroom breaks, incidents, no shows, etc.)
2 volunteers/shift, 4 hours/shift
8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
1:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
5:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Take-down
Volunteers for take down at maple grove on Sunday during the day. (As many people as possible)
August 14th, Sunday evening take down at CanWest Global park 6:00 pm

Charter Coordinator
Someone at the Fairmont during the day to keep things running smoothly with the shuttles. 2 people/shift
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 5:50 p.m.

Help at Saturday Juniors Party, August 13th
Duties include: distribute pizza and pop to the Jr. teams and to help clean up afterwards.
8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
3 people required

Party Crew at M.A.S.H (Must be 18 years of age or older)
-Party set up crew, 7:00 p.m.
-Ticket takers and merchandise selling
2 people/shift
8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
12:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.

M.O.D.S Field Development Display table.
We are looking for someone to work on Sunday August the 14th at the Basically just babysitting the dispay. Please let me know if you can work any of the following shifts.
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Additional Notes
I will be requiring medical and waiver forms for people to fill out and sign.
I will require permission forms for minors who wish to volunteer.
Every volunteer will receive a shirt (you may receive more of a prize package if you volunteer extra time and shifts as an added incentive.)
THERE WILL BE A PARTY FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO HONOUR YOUR HARD WORK!!! (DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED)
