Ecology Action Centre (EAC)

The Ecology Action Centre has been chosen as the community partner for the 2006 Canadian Ultimate Championships — a logical choice because of our green objectives for this year's Championships. Volunteers from the EAC will assist with the greening and running of our event.

The Ecology Action Centre is Nova Scotia's largest and most active environmental organization. Since 1971, the EAC has been working to build a healthier, more sustainable Nova Scotia. This organization has over 800 members, 250 volunteers and staff, and seven active teams and committees. The Centre's current areas of focus include Marine Issues, Coastal Issues, Wilderness, Public Lands, Food Issues, Transportation, Energy, and Urban Issues. Waste Reduction Sponsor

RRFB Nova Scotia is a non-profit corporation managed by a board of directors with representatives from the private sector and government.
