CUC Discounts with CanJet, Harmony, and Westjet

Harmony Airways is offering a 15% discount for flights between Vancouver and Toronto for CUC 2006. Call the Harmony Airways Toronto sales office at 1-866-887-6088 and quote booking code "YTOCUC" or book by e-mail to sdalvie@harmonyairways.com and quote the booking code to receive the 15% discount. Westjet is offering a 10% discount on air fares for teams from Thuder Bay and from west of (and including) Winnipeg. For a reservation, you must provide your travel itinerary in their form (Microsoft Word document only) and e-mail them the form at conventions@westjet.com.

To Halifax from the airport
The Halifax International Airport is located about 40 minutes outside of Halifax.
There is an airport shuttle operated by Zincks Bus Company (902-873-2091) that operates between 08:00 and 23:00. The shuttle bus stops at the CUC hotel as well as most other downtown Halifax hotels. A one-way fare is $16.00 and a two-way fare is $28.00. No advance reservation is required. Count on a trip to or from the airport on the shuttle to be about 1 hour. If you are going to the Saint Mary's residence and you are on a budget, take the airport shuttle to the Lord Nelson Hotel or the Westin Hotel and then take a roughly $5 taxi ride from there to Saint Mary's University.
Taxis to Halifax are also available. There is a flat fee of $53.00 between the airport and any part of Halifax. You might also book a taxi or a group shuttle in advance by contacting World Class Limousine Service at 1-800-565-2777 or 902-864-4004; this pre-booked taxi often results in a lower flat fee, especially if your team is arriving as a group and you can book a shuttle together.
