CUPA is currently accepting bids to host the Canadian Ultimate Championships (CUC) that will take place in August 2007.

To bid on hosting CUC, please click here to download the bid template (MS-Word format).

Bids must be submitted by Monday, November 28th, 2005, 5pm EST, to Shiellah Quintos, by email, at . The host city will be announced in late 2005 or early 2006.

Observers Wanted!
CUPA is looking for experienced players with detailed knowledge of the 10th Edition rules who interested in being observers at the Canadian Ultimate Championships in Winnipeg. We do not anticipate a huge demand, but we would like to be able to provide observers upon request. There will also be a required 1-hour clinic for all observers before the tournament. IMPORTANT - CUC 2005 Regional Allocation Announcement

CUPA is pleased to announce that Halifax, Nova Scotia has officially been selected as the host city for the 20th Canadian Ultimate Championships in 2006. The tournament will be held from August 17th to the 20th in downtown Halifax.

Ultimate in Halifax made its debut in 1991. The Halifax Ultimate Recreational League (HURL) was formed in 1993 and now serves over 600 players during the summer. The league host 3 tournaments a year and is excited by its new venture, a Junior tournament scheduled for June 2005.

This is the first time CUC has been held in the Atlantic Region.

The CUPA Canadian Ultimate Summer Series (CUSS) is still looking for Regional Coordinators. Coordinators receive a free CUPA membership and have an opportunity to learn more about Ultimate, how to run a tournament, network with players in your region, and most importantly, to support and give back to the sport.
