CUPA will refund all participants their CUPA membership
fee (if paid after August 30th 2005), and reimburse a portion of
collected tournament fees based on amount played (two-thirds refund)
to each team, and the rest will be divided among the 5 teams who
flew. For those of you who expressed an interest in having all your
fees (team and CUPA membership dues) be donated to the Chris Powell
Memorial Fund, CUPA will facilitate this payment for you.

We are sorry to announce that all tournament play
for Sunday has been cancelled due to the state of the fields. Any
backup fields are also off limits due to large amounts of standing
water. We will contact the teams next week regarding reimbursements.
Thank you for your patience. The tournament
will now take place in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Games for the OPEN division will
start at 9:00am on Saturday.

Captain's Meeting is Thursday,
October 13th, 7pm at Kandy Bar, 4147 St-Laurent, just south of Rachel
on the east side. One representative from each team must attend
to confirm that all registration outstanding issues have been dealt
with. An updated schedule and party stickers will be provided at
this time too.
The games begin Friday morning at 8:30am.
The weather is looking nasty, cold and rainy. Please bring warm
(and waterproof!) clothing. Field food – bagels, bananas,
apples, water, and coffee will be provided each day. Also, lunch
will be provided on Friday and Saturday. Bring your own lunch on
Sunday, last games scheduled to end at 5:00pm. There will be an
athletic trainer only on Saturday.
The tournament is held at the Douglas
Hospital. Alcohol is prohibited at the fields. Please be
responsible and respect the rules. Any violations of these rules
can result in immediate suspension of either the player or the team.
Note that parking is $3 a day and if you don’t pay, you will
get a ticket. More parking information is available on the directions

Policy
Party is Saturday, October 15th, at Gert's,
3480 McTavish Street, on the west side of the McGill campus, between
Sherbrooke Street and Docteur-Penfield. Party starts at 10:00pm.
All CUUC particpants must bring ID and a CUPA sticker (provided
by your captain) in order to gain entrance.
