Online Payments Rejected (July 16)
All online payments attempted between 7:30am and 1:53pm today were rejected due to
an IP address change made when our ISP moved their servers to a new data center. The new IP address
has been
confirmed and payments are working again. Our apologies to any inconvenience this caused (365 payment
attempts were rejected - yikes!). As a result the
deadline for regular fees has been extended by one day. Fees
now must be in by July 19th, 2007 to avoid a 25% penalty.
GST/HST Refunds! (July 11)
CUPA is pleased to announce that (after much research on the GST, QST and HST rules)
we have found an exemption under which we are not required to collect or remit these taxes on
player's fees. The payment page was changed today to reflect this new finding.
If you already paid your 2007 player's fees, you will be refunded for the GST you paid either through your
credit card or by cheque.
We are currently determining the best way to process refunds for the HST paid for the 2006 CUC. We
will let you know when this process begins.
Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.
