CUPA Selects Preferred Insurance Supplier SSEI Sports & Special Events Insurance Agency of Vancouver ("SSEI") has been selected by CUPA as its preferred supplier of insurance to develop an insurance program for Ultimate players in Canada. SSEI's insurance program includes commercial general liability insurance and optional directors and officers liability insurance and accident/medical insurance. In selecting SSEI as its preferred supplier of insurance, CUPA reviewed policy terms for the types of insurance that associations and leagues would generally obtain or need and the rates offered by various insurers. CUPA then further negotiated the rates and policy terms to be offered by SSEI pursuant to the program. SSEI has agreed to offer web access to insureds to enable them to directly obtain Certificates of Insurance for fields. SSEI has also agreed to offer further reductions of insurance rates in 2007 should there be a sufficient minimum base of insured players through these arrangements by the time of policy expirations in 2007. There are a number of options and policy terms within SSEI's insurance program. It is up to any association, league or other entity that may wish to obtain such insurance to satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any insurance arrangements for their specific requirements.
