Vancouver Women's Team Prime honoured at BC Sports Hall of Fame & Museum


The women of Prime's 2000 & 2004 World Championship teams were inducted October 22nd, 2006 into an exhibit called, "In Her Footsteps... Celebrating BC Women in Sport" permanently on display at the BC Sports Hall of Fame & Museum located at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, BC.

Prime is featured in this permanent display within the Museum which currently features a collection of outstanding women athletes, teams and leaders who have contributed to the advancement of Women in sport in the province of British Columbia.

The exhibit features photo montages, an interactive video display with interviews and footage of Prime, and display cases showcasing Ultimate Frisbee memorabilia and Prime's Team Canada gear. The exhibit will also be part of the Hall of Fame's Educational programming so hopefully
we will further help inspire the next generation of Vancouver Ultimate players!

This was not only a great moment for Prime, but also for the sport of Ultimate to be recognized by a Sports Hall of Fame & Museum! Another milestone for Ultimate Frisbee.
