World Games 2005, Duisburg,
Germany January 27, 2005 First off, the WG National Team Selection Committee would like to thank everyone for applying for Team Canada for the World Games 2005. We are fortunate to have such an amazing quality of talent from our Ultimate players here in Canada and what we as a committee believe, are the best in the world. With such great players, the selection was a very challenging process and so it lasted a little longer than we had hoped - thanks for your patience. In the end, the team chosen is second to none and will no doubt make us all proud to be a part of the Canadian Ultimate community. For 2005, the selection of alternates will not be ranked. As there is a mixture of strengths, it will be up to the core Team Canada to determine which alternate would be selected as a replacement. This is to allow for a dynamic replacement depending on the make-up of the Team leading up to the World Games. The WG National Team Selection Committee would be consulted during this process.
